LMI hammer …Yesterday my car suddenly decided not to remote start anymore. Press the FOB button twice (the horn beeps back at me on each press) and then it beeps back at me twice, lights flash, and it doesn't start. I have a MOPAR remote start with the seperate FOB. If this is so you will throw a CEL and most likely the car will be in limp mode which means no remote start. There is a hood safety switch that prevents the car from starting via the remote when the hood is open. Obviously, this would attempt to prevent injury from an accidental start while working on the vehicle. In practice, however, this switch has been found to be the weak point in the remote start ... I have a 2019 Charger GT. I replaced the battery in both key fobs and everything started up fine. The next morning it wouldn't start remotely. Get message that remote start is disabled.Seen a post about the battery potentially impacting remote start after some more digging. Just checked the voltage and it's sitting at 12.0 after being parked for 5 hours so I'll get that swapped out. Thanks for all the tips!.
